Cultural Promotion
Under this program, the CPK fosters cultural exchange between Kansas and Paraguay through the promotion and difusion of traditions and cultural values.
Emergency Preparedness
The Emergency Preparedness Program aims to support the activities of volunteer firemen and emergency workers, who dedicate their lives to ensure everyone’s safety.
Family Medicine
The Family Medicine Program allows medical students from Kansas, as part of their residency, to spend some time in Paraguayan health centers and hospitals.
Legislative Fellows
Facilitates approximately 75 professional exchanges that bridge civil society and government by providing the opportunity for participants to examine the issues of public corruption and accountability.
Pitt State in Paraguay
Paraguayan students may take their General Ed courses through Pitt State in Paraguay, which allows them to easily transfer credits to any American university for their final college years.
Teacher and High School Exchange
Teachers and high school students have the opportunity to travel to Kansas to share experiences and learn.
University Linkage
Allows Paraguayan students to attend college in Kansas — for intensive English classes, baccalaureate or master’s degrees, or doctorates — and pay only in-state tuition.
Volunteerism
Its objective is to promote volunteer participation of all people interested in supporting — technically and professionally — the activities of the nonprofit sector.
